PROCESS FOR PREPARING A COSMETIC ARTICLE AND COSMETIC ARTICLE THAT IS ADAPTABLE TO THE SHAPE OF THE FACE, NECK AND/OR NECKLINE AND CHARGED WITH HYDROPHILIC ACTIVE AGENT

The invention relates to a process for preparing a cosmetic article that is adaptable to the shape of the face, neck and/or neckline, comprising a nonwoven support sheet, made of non-synthetic fibres, on which is immobilized, in the dry state and in a non-covalent manner, at least one hydrophilic cosmetic active agent intended to exert a specific action on the skin, characterized in that it comprises at least the steps consisting in: i) providing said active agent in a dry, pulverulent form; ii) providing at least one hydrophilic, in particular water-soluble, binder with a melting point ranging from 55°C to 140°C in a dry, pulverulent form; iii) forming, on one face of said sheet of porous nonwoven support, a deposit, at least partially in depth, of a dry, pulverulent mixture of at least said hydrophilic cosmetic active agent with at least said hydrophilic binder; iv) exposing said deposit to a calendering operation performed at a temperature and pressure that are conducive to the melting of said hydrophilic binder but inactive with respect to said cosmetic active agent and of said fibres of said support sheet, and v) recovering said support sheet charged with hydrophilic cosmetic active agent. The invention also relates to a cosmetic article that is adaptable to the shape of the face, neck and/or neckline, preferentially obtained via the preceding process, and to the use of such an article.
