The peptide of the present invention inhibits melanosome invagination in keratinocytes and promotes melanosome degradation, thereby having skin whitening activity. The peptide of the present invention can be used as an active ingredient of a drug for treating or preventing hyperpigmentation diseases caused by melanosome hyperpigmentation, or as an active ingredient of skin whitening cosmetics.
