ALUMINUM ALLOY PRODUCTION METHOD

An aluminum alloy production method according to the present invention is characterized by including: a step for obtaining a molten metal by melting aluminum alloy scrap containing Mg; a step for adding silica sand to the molten metal; and a step for reacting the molten metal and the silica sand so as to add Si in the silica sand into the molten metal, and removing a reaction product containing MgO from the molten metal.
