Zusammenfassung:	Die Erfindung betrifft ein Elektrolysesystem (1) mit einer Mehrzahl von Elektrolyseanlagen (3, 3A, 3B, 3C), die jeweils einen Elektrolyseur mit einer jeweiligen Produktgas-Leitung (5, 5A, 5B, 5C) aufweisen, mittels derer ein Produktgas aus der Elektrolyseanlage (3, 3A, 3B, 3C) herausleitbar ist, und mit einer Verdichteranlage (7) umfassend eine Vorverdichtungseinrichtung (9) mit einer Mehrzahl von Vorverdichtern (11, 11A, 11B), eine Nachverdichterstation (13) und eine zentrale Sammelleitung (15), wobei die Produktgas-Leitung (5, 5A, 5B, 5C) eingangsseitig an einen Vorverdichter (11, 11A, 11B) und die Vorverdichter (11, 11A, 11B) ausgangsseitig an die zentrale Sammelleitung (15) angeschlossen sind, und wobei die Nachverdichterstation (13) an die zentrale Sammelleitung (15) angeschlossen ist.
