The method uses a vacuum microwave drying device to carry out the decarboxylation of hemp flowers and leaves, and comprises the steps of crushing hemp flowers and leaves, sieving same with a 20-to-50-mesh sieve, and adjusting the temperature of the vacuum microwave drying device to 40-120ºC. By optimizing the particle size of hemp flowers and leaves and the decarboxylation temperature, a decarboxylation method which can achieve uniform decarboxylation, takes a short amount of time, has high levels of efficiency and is capable of retaining the effective components of hemp is obtained.
