Zusammenfassung: | The present invention relates to the technical field of microbial fermentation, and in particular, to an Escherichia coli mutant strain HCYJ-03 for producing polysialic acid and a use. The Escherichia coli mutant strain HCYJ-03 is named as Escherichia coli in taxonomy; the accession number is CGMCC NO. 25637; the preservation date is 02 September 2022; the preservation unit is China General Microbiological Culture Collection Center; and the preservation address is No. 3, Yard 1, Beichen West Road, Chaoyang District, Beijing. The Escherichia coli mutant strain HCYJ-03 is mutagenized by using Escherichia coli K235 having an accession number of ATCC130277 as an original strain. The yield of polysialic acid or sialic acid produced by the Escherichia coli mutant strain HCYJ-03 is increased by about 44.19% compared with that of the original strain, and the Escherichia coli mutant strain HCYJ-03 is suitable for massive industrial production.
