COMPOSITION FOR AN INSULATING COATING

The subject of the invention is a composition comprising flakes of mineral or plant wool, a mineral binder in powder form and a water-soluble polymer comprising hydroxyl groups, wherein the content of mineral or plant wool is between 50 and 90% by weight and the content of mineral binder is between 10 and 50% by weight relative to the total weight of mineral or plant wool and of mineral binder. The invention also relates to a method for obtaining an insulating coating and to a building element comprising a support coated with an insulating coating on one of its surfaces.
