Disclosed are a method for determining a scheduling policy, and a related apparatus. The method comprises: in response to there being congestion in a first link, according to scheduling policies which are respectively supported by a plurality of applications to which traffic borne by the first link belongs, determining a first scheduling policy for traffic of at least one application on the first link; and applying the first scheduling policy. When there is congestion in a first link, a scheduling policy is determined according to scheduling policies which are supported by a plurality of applications on the link, such that a control device or a network device can perform overall scheduling on traffic of the applications on the basis of the scheduling policies which are respectively supported by the applications, can make full use of network resources to transmit the traffic of the applications, and can thus ensure the quality of service of each application to the greatest extent, thereby avoiding the problem
