Le procédé consiste à estimer, pendant moins d'une moitié d'une période c.a., la tension efficace (RMS), et après la reconnaissance de la valeur requise de tension à corriger, corriger la tension en calculant une puissance réactive requise à connecter à la charge pour corriger la tension.
