La présente invention concerne un composite soufre-carbone destiné à être utilisé dans une électrode positive d'une batterie lithium-soufre et son procédé de fabrication, le composite de carbone comprenant : un substrat de carbone poreux ; et un composé contenant du soufre qui remplit la surface externe et/ou la surface de pore interne du substrat de carbone poreux, la totalité ou une partie de la surface étant recouverte de polythiophène amphiphile.
