The method comprises: acquiring a current rotating speed and current power of an indoor fan according to an air volume instruction (S11); acquiring an updated rotating speed, the updated rotating speed being calculated, when the current power is equal to target power, by using a preset relationship between a rotating speed and power, and the current rotating speed, and the target power being determined by the air volume instruction (S13); and using the updated rotating speed to control the indoor fan to operate so that the air volume output by the indoor fan matches the air volume instruction (S15).
