Disclosed is a preparation method for a sulfur poisoning-resistant electric denitration catalyst. The preparation method comprises: S1, uniformly mixing melamine, an alcohol solvent and titanium dioxide, and drying and calcining to obtain melamine modified titanium dioxide; S2, designing a loading capacity according to active components of the catalyst, dissolving rare earth metal nitrate in water, impregnating the melamine modified titanium dioxide in S1 with an aqueous solution of rare earth metal nitrate according to an equivalent-volume impregnation method, then drying and calcining to obtain a melamine modified titanium dioxide preloaded rare earth metal oxide; and S3, designing the loading capacity according to the active components of the catalyst, mixing ammonium metavanadate, ammonium metatungstate and ammonium heptamolybdate with water and monoethanolamine, heating and dissolving, then according to an equiva
