IMAGE DISPLAY METHOD APPLIED TO ELECTRONIC DEVICE, CODING METHOD, AND RELATED APPARATUS

The present application provides an image display method applied to an electronic device, a coding method, and a related apparatus. The image display method applied to an electronic device of the present application comprises: acquiring an image to be processed; acquiring high-brightness augmented data, wherein the high-brightness augmented data comprises a high dynamic range layer (hdrLayer); acquiring initial backlight brightness of the electronic device; acquiring target backlight brightness of the electronic device according to the initial backlight brightness; performing brightness adjustment on said image according to the hdrLayer to obtain a target image adapted for the target backlight brightness; and displaying the target image under the target backlight brightness. According to the present application, image display can be carried out by fully using a screen brightness range, and optimal end-to-end effect experience can be presented.
