This electrolytic capacitor comprises: a capacitor element in which a positive electrode foil and a negative electrode foil are wound with a separator interposed therebetween; a case that stores the capacitor element; a sealing body that seals an opening of the case; and a retaining member that is located between the capacitor element and the sealing body, the retaining member retaining an anti-oxidant that is more susceptible to oxidation than the sealing body.
