Zusammenfassung:	Provided is a water-based ink with which it is possible to suppress white spots, suppress the occurrence of water-based ink filling defects, and produce recorded matter having high image reproducibility.　This water-based ink contains at least a coloring material, water, and an organic solvent, the coloring material containing a pigment, and the organic solvent having a water-octanol partition coefficient of −0.3 or less. L'invention fournit une encre aqueuse qui permet de fabriquer un article imprimé tel que les zones de vide sont inhibées, l'apparition de défauts de remplissage d'une encre aqueuse est inhibée, et la reproductibilité d'image est élevée.　Plus précisément, l'invention concerne une encre aqueuse qui comprend au moins un matériau colorant, une eau et un solvant organique.
