Zusammenfassung:	Methods of stabilizing a pelvis, optionally a pelvic fracture, which may also be referred to herein as bilateral pelvic stabilization. Optionally, the stabilization may include applying compression across the pelvis between and across the sacro-iliac (SI) joints. Stabilization (and optionally compression) implants herein are generally sized and configured to extend across both SI joints and the sacrum, and extend at least partially within the ilia. L'invention concerne des procédés permettant une stabilisation pelvienne, éventuellement d'une fracture pelvienne, qui peut également être appelée ici stabilisation pelvienne bilatérale. Facultativement, la stabilisation peut comprendre l'application d'une compression à travers le bassin entre et à travers les articulations sacro-iliaques (SI). Des implants de stabilisation (et éventuellement de compression) sont généralement dimensionnés et conçus pour s'étendre à travers les deux articulations SI et le sacrum, et s'étendre au moins partiellement à l'intérieur des ilia.
