Zusammenfassung:	Disclosed herein is a sorbent cartridge comprising: a first layer comprising activated carbon; and a second layer in direct contact with the first layer, the second layer comprising one or both of hydrous zirconium oxide and zirconium phosphate, wherein: the first layer has a moisture content of X wt. %; the second layer has a moisture content of Y wt. %; and the difference in the moisture content of the first layer and the second layer is less than or equal to 8 wt. %.
