Zusammenfassung: | The invention relates to a hang-off system (1) for hang-off of an end section (11) of a first end of a transfer pipe (10) on a floating structure or vessel, wherein the opposite, second end of the transfer pipe is located away from the floating structure or vessel, the end section (11) of the transfer pipe being provided with a pipe hang-off flange (12), wherein the hang-off system (1) comprises: - a gas balcony structure (4) configured for being fastened to an outside of a shipside (3) of the floating structure or vessel (2), the gas balcony structure (4) comprising a hang-off collar (20) configured to secure the transfer pipe to the gas balcony structure (4), wherein the hang-off collar (20) comprises: - at least two movable collar flanges (21a, 21b), the at least two collar flanges (21a, 21b) defining a central opening (7) of the hang-off collar (20) for passing through the end section (11) of the first end of the transfer pipe (10), - a linear actuator (26) for moving the at least two collar flanges (21a, 21b) between a first position (P1) and a second position (P2), wherein in the first position (P1), the central opening (24) is larger than a cross-sectional area of the hang-off flange (12) of the transfer pipe (10), and wherein in the second position (P2), the central opening (24) is smaller than a cross-sectional area of the pipe hang-off flange (12) of the transfer pipe (10), - a clamping mechanism (27) configured to clamp the pipe hang-off flange (12) to the collar flanges (21a, 21b). The invention further relates to a method for pull-in of a first end of a transfer pipe (10) using the hang-off system (1).
