Provided in the present application are a reconfigurable intelligent metasurface unit and an array thereof. The reconfigurable intelligent metasurface unit comprises: an antenna unit structure (100); a non-volatile device (200), the non-volatile device (200) being electrically connected to or coupled to the antenna unit structure (100); and a control circuit (300), the control circuit (300) being electrically connected to the non-volatile device (200) and being configured to send an electrical signal to the non-volatile device (200), such that the non-volatile device (200) switches a digital state in response to the electrical signal, wherein the digital state represents electromagnetic properties of the antenna unit structure (100).
