The method is applied to a power battery and an electric device, and comprises: a first gateway receiving, by means of a first communication protocol, a first message sent by a battery management device of the power battery; the first gateway converting the first message into a second message on the basis of a second communication protocol; and the first gateway sending the second message to a vehicle control unit (VCU) of the electric device.
