According to the present disclosure, disclosed is a method for processing information by an electronic device, the method comprising the steps of: obtaining first information for selling an item; determining whether the first information overlaps previously obtained information for selling an item; determining whether there is a problem about information of one or more items included in the first information; and approving the first information when the first information does not overlap the previously obtained information and there is no problem about the information of one or more items, wherein when the first information is approved, a user's sale of an item corresponding to the first information is approved.
