SYSTEM FOR CONVERTING FRAME IMAGES INTO SPIKES

A system for converting frame images into spikes. In order to solve the technical problem of high power consumption during conversion of frame images into spike events, a frame rate or a difference frame frequency is adaptively adjusted according to the amount of effective pixel change between the frame images, so as to reduce power consumption of the system and adaptively respond to scene application needs. In order to solve the problem of low inference accuracy caused by directly applying spike events to an SNN processor after converting frame images into the spike events, a randomization process of the images is therefore considered as a whole, a global randomization scheme is provided, all links of applying a frame image sensor to the SNN processor are broken through, and an event camera alternative scheme is provided.
