Zusammenfassung:	The present invention relates to an improved process for the preparation of palbociclib. The present invention also relates to a novel crystalline Form G of tert-butyl 4-(6-{[6- (1-butoxyethenyl)-8-cyclopentyl-5-methyl-7-oxo-7,8-dihydropyrido[2,3- d]pyrimidin-2-yl]amino}pyridin-3-yl)piperazine-1-carboxylate (also known as N-BOC palbociclib), and a process for its preparation. The novel Form G of tert-butyl 4-(6-{[6- (1-butoxyethenyl)-8-cyclopentyl-5-methyl-7-oxo-7,8-dihydropyrido[2,3- d]pyrimidin-2-yl]amino}pyridin-3-yl)piperazine-1-carboxylate (also known as N-BOC palbociclib) is substantially in accordance with Firgure 1. La présente invention concerne un procédé de préparation de palbociclib. La présente invention concerne également une nouvelle forme cristalline G de 4-(6-{[6- (1-butoxyéthenyl)-8-cyclopentyl-5-méthyl-7-oxo-7,8-dihydropyrido[2,3- d]pyrimidin-2-yl]amino}pyridin-3-yl)pipérazine-1-carboxylate tert-butylique (également connu sous le nom de N-BOC palbociclib), et son procédé de préparation.
