Zusammenfassung:To provide a sealing property that can be applied to anomalous cross sections, that can prevent ingress or leakage of powder and dust, that is resource-conserving and highly recyclable, that avoids overheating, wear, and damage, and that is stable over a long period of time, the present invention provides a sealing material having at least a tubular fabric and a rigid support member supporting the tubular fabric, wherein the tubular fabric is provided with elasticity and rebound resilience due to the thickness of the fabric and is fixed to the support member while covering the support member disposed on the back surface of a portion in contact with a member to be sealed so that the fabric can be compressed by contact with the member to be sealed, the sealing material is annular, the elasticity of the tubular fabric is such that the tubular fabric can be stretched from the inner circumference to the outer circumference of a hole of the support member, the support member has a hole in which the tubular fabric is disposed on the inner circumference, the tubular fabric has an outer circumferential length OL when not stretched that is equal to or less than the inner circumferential length IL of the hole of the support member, and the outer circumferential surface of the tubular fabric is disposed on the inner circumferential surface of the hole of the support member so as to cover the contact portion between the inner circumferential surface of the support member and the member to be sealed.
