Zusammenfassung:	A hardhat having a brim of variable elongation circumscribing its base is oriented such that the most elongate brim portion is associated with the back of a user's head. A source of supplied air is brought into an area proximate the back area, and an air conduit directs the air toward an area or areas of the hardhat having a less elongate brim. La présente invention concerne un casque de chantier ayant un bord d'allongement variable circonscrivant sa base orienté de telle sorte que la partie de bord la plus allongée est associée au derrière de la tête d'un utilisateur. Une source d'air fourni est amenée dans une zone proche de la zone arrière, et un conduit d'air dirige l'air vers une zone ou des zones du casque de chantier ayant un bord moins allongé.
