La présente invention concerne de manière générale un procédé de préparation d'intermédiaire azabicyclo[3.1.0]hexane de formule (I), un intermédiaire pour la préparation de certains composés antiviraux, par exemple le bocéprévir et le nirmatrelvir. Dans la formule,"R1" est choisi parmi hydrogène, alkyle, aryle ou aralkyle.
