Embodiments of the present description provide a data processing method and apparatus, which are applied to a system comprising a data provider and N secure multi-party computation (MPC) computing parties, N being an integer greater than 3. According to the method of the embodiments, firstly, the MPC computing parties obtain first data components from a data message sent by the data provider, the first data components being some of data components in a plurality of data components obtained after the data provider splits privacy data, and the first data components being logic components; and then conversion from the logical components to arithmetic components is performed on the first data components to obtain second data components for MPC processing.
