Zusammenfassung:	The present invention relates to A method for manufacturing a paper or paperboard based packaging laminate, said method comprising: a) providing a paper or paperboard substrate having a grammage of at least 80 g/m2, a density below 800 kg/m3, and a bending resistance in the machine direction as measured according to ISO 2493 (L&W, 15°) above 80 mN, b) providing a transfer coating substrate comprising a vacuum coating layer and a backing layer separated by a release layer, and c) transferring the vacuum coating layer from the backing layer to the paper or paperboard substrate by a transfer coating process using an adhesive layer applied on the paper or paperboard substrate and/or the vacuum coating layer to obtain a paper or paperboard based packaging laminate. La présente invention concerne un procédé de fabrication d'un stratifié d'emballage à base de papier ou de carton, ledit procédé consistant : a) à fournir un substrat de papier ou de carton présentant un grammage d'au moins 80 g/m2, une densité inférieure à 800 kg/m3, et une résistance à la flexion dans le sens machine telle que mesurée selon la norme ISO 2493 (L&W, 15°) supérieure à 80 mN, b) à fournir un substrat de revêtement par transfert comprenant une couche de revêtement sous vide et une couche de support séparées par une couche de libération, et c) à transférer la couche de revêtement sous vide de la couche de support au substrat de papier ou de carton par un procédé de revêtement par transfert à l'aide d'une couche adhésive appliquée sur le substrat de papier ou de carton et/ou la couche de revêtement sous vide pour obtenir un stratifié d'emballage à base de papier ou de carton.
