SAFETY DEVICE FOR A USER CAUGHT IN AN AVALANCHE

The invention relates to a safety device (10) for locating a user (12) in an avalanche, comprising: - a support (202) provided with attachments (203) configured to secure the support (202) to the user, - an inflatable airbag (206) that moves between a deflated state and an inflated stated, the airbag (206) being rigidly attached to the support (202) in its deflated state, - a gas generator (212) configured to inflate the airbag (206), - a rope connecting the support (202) to the airbag (206) in order to maintain the distance thereof from the support (202) when the airbag (206) is in the inflated state, the airbag (206) and the support (202) being configured relative to the user such that, during inflation, the airbag (206) bears against the support (202) and such that, in response to the contact made by the airbag (206), the support (202) exerts a force (224) on the airbag (206) that tends to move the airbag (206) away from the support (202). Dispositif (10) de sécurité pour rendre un utilisateur (12) repérable dans une avalanche, comprenant : - un support (202) muni d'attaches (203) configurées pour fixer le support (202) à l'utilisateur, - une vessie (206) gonflable, mobile entre un état dégonflé, et un état gonflé, la vessie (206) étant solidaire du support (202) dans son état dégonflé, - un générateur de gaz (212) configuré pour gonfler la vessie (206), - un cordage reliant le support (202) à la vessie (206) pour la maintenir à distance du support (202) lorsque la vessie (206) est dans son état gonflé, la vessie (206) et le support (202) étant configurés par rapport l'utilisateur de sorte à ce que, durant le gonflage, la vessie (206) prenne appui contre le support (202) et à ce qu'en réaction à l'appui de la vessie (206), le support (202) exerce un effort (224) sur la vessie (206) tendant à écarter la vessie (206) du support (202).
