A method for improving a peak computing power of a processor, and a system for improving a peak computing power of a processor. The system comprises: a load, which includes a processor; and a power supply apparatus, which is used for receiving an input voltage, generating an output voltage and supplying power to the load by means of the output voltage. The load has a load impedance; the power supply apparatus has a characteristic impedance; the load impedance is defined by the output voltage of the power supply apparatus and the maximum step current provided by the power supply apparatus; the characteristic impedance is defined by an equivalent inductance of the power supply apparatus and an equivalent capacitance of an output side; and the ratio of the characteristic impedance to the load impedance is less than 1.
