AXIAL SWITCHABLE ONE WAY CLUTCH

A clutch assembly is provided including a ring rotatable about a center axis defining an axial direction. The ring includes a profile facing the axial direction. The clutch assembly also includes a rocker including an engagement section that is movable in the axial direction toward and away from the profile; a strut configured for being rotated to move the engagement section of the rocker in the axial direction toward the profile; and an actuator configured to move the strut in an engagement direction to move the engagement section of the rocker in the axial direction into engagement with the profile to prevent the ring from rotating about the center axis in a first rotational direction. La présente invention concerne un ensemble embrayage qui comprend une bague pouvant tourner autour d'un axe central définissant un sens axial. La bague comprend un profil faisant face au sens axial. L'ensemble embrayage comprend également une bascule comprenant une section de mise en prise qui peut se déplacer dans le sens axial vers et à l'opposé du profil ; une jambe de force configurée pour être tournée afin de déplacer la section de mise en prise de la bascule dans le sens axial vers le profil ; et un actionneur configuré pour déplacer la jambe de force dans un sens de mise en prise afin de déplacer la section de mise en prise de la bascule dans le sens axial en prise avec le profil pour empêcher la bague de tourner autour de l'axe central dans un premier sens de rotation.
