Disclosed is a vacuum cleaner capable of effectively changing the direction of flow toward a diffuser and reducing loss caused by flow separation. The vacuum cleaner comprises a suction unit inside a body, wherein: the suction unit comprises an impeller arranged such that air is suctioned in response to the rotation around a shaft, and a plurality of diffuser vanes arranged such that air discharged from the impeller is guided; and the diffuser vanes are provided as one vane body of which the cross section has the shape of an air foil, and include a passage provided to cross through at least a portion of the vane body.
