The present invention relates to a multi-branch ultra-wideband radiation unit and an antenna. The radiation unit comprises a radiator, and a feed piece assembly and a directing piece assembly that are mounted on the radiator; the radiator comprises a balun structure, a first radiation arm assembly, and a second radiation arm assembly, the inner ends of the first radiation arm assembly and the second radiation arm assembly being respectively connected to the balun structure, and the second radiation arm assembly being located below the first radiation arm assembly; the first radiation arm assembly comprises four orthogonally arranged first radiation arm branches, and every two of the four first radiation arm branches are paired to form a first dipole radiation arm; the second radiation arm assembly comprises four orthogonally arranged second radiation arm branches, and every two of the four second radiation arm branches are paired to form a second dipole radiation arm.
