The present invention relates to a method for the decolorization and depolymerization of a colored polymer containing an ester functional group and, specifically, to a method for the decolorization and depolymerization of a colored polymer containing an ester functional group, in which, by adding compounds represented by chemical formula 1 as an extractant and an additive, depolymerization is possible at a lower temperature, the yield of a target product can be increased, and color-expressing foreign substances can be removed from the colored polymer.
