METHOD FOR DETERMINING A PARAMETER OF A CLOSURE, PRIVACY OR SUN PROTECTION APPARATUS

The invention relates to a method for determining at least one parameter of an apparatus (100) comprising a closure, privacy or sun protection screen (2), the method being at least partially implemented by a tool (33) for configuring the apparatus, the method comprising at least the following steps: a. a step (E10) of obtaining a first set (E1) of adjustable parameters for defining the apparatus, including at least one parameter related to the geometry of the screen in the apparatus; b. a step (E20) of obtaining a second set (E2) of fixed parameters for defining the apparatus; c. a step (E60) of calculating the shade produced by the screen of the apparatus at at least one moment in time provided by a timestamp, the screen being considered to be in an at least partially deployed position; d. a step (E70) of using the calculated shade in defining the value of at least one first parameter of the first set.
