Zusammenfassung:The invention relates to a voltage conversion module (MCT) comprising a high-voltage terminal (BHT), a low-voltage terminal (BBT), a ground terminal (BM), an inductor (2081-3), a switching arm comprising a high-side switch (2021-3) and a low-side switch (2041-3) that are connected to each other at a mid-point (PM1-3), the switching arm being connected between the high-voltage terminal (BHT) and the ground terminal (BM), whereas the mid-point (PM1-3) is electrically connected to the low-voltage terminal (BBT) via said inductor (2081-3), and a device (500) for controlling the switches (2021-3, 2041-3), said voltage conversion module (MCT) being characterized in that it further comprises: a device (D1-3) for detecting failure of the high-side switch (2021-3), such as short-circuiting, which device comprises a voltage generator (G1-3) comprising two input terminals (b1, b2) and an output terminal (SG), said voltage generator (G1-3) being configured to receive on one of its input terminals (b2) the voltage of the mid-point (PM1-3), and on the other of its input terminals (b1) a first reference voltage (BT), said voltage generator (G1-3) being further configured to generate on its output terminal (SG) an increasing voltage (V1-3) from a predetermined voltage lower than a threshold value (VS) provided that the voltage of the mid-point (PM1-3) is higher than or equal to the first reference voltage (BT), and to generate a voltage (V1-3) lower than the threshold value (VS) in the contrary case; as well as a first voltage comparison module (CO1-3) configured to compare the voltage (V1-3) on said output terminal (SG) of the voltage generator (G1-3) to said threshold value (VS) and to generate an error signal (ST1-3) when said voltage on the output terminal is higher than said threshold value (VS).
