SAFETY CONTROL SYSTEM AND SAFETY CONTROLLER FOR INDUSTRIAL ROBOT

A safety control system and safety controller (10) for an industrial robot. The safety controller (10) is integrated in a control cabinet (20) of an industrial robot and comprises: a logic circuit (12) for generating a first security instruction on the basis of state information of a security input device (50) of the industrial robot; an output circuit (13) for connecting to the logic circuit (12) and connecting to a servo controller (30) of the industrial robot, and transmitting the first security instruction to the servo controller (30), such that the servo controller (30) executes the first security instruction; and a diagnosis circuit (101) for connecting to the output circuit (13) so as to determine whether the transmission path from the output circuit (13) to the servo controller (30) has failed. Safety logic control of an industrial robot is achieved by using a small-size safety controller (10) while it is ensured that a servo controller (30) of the industrial robot can be effectively stopped.
