The present invention comprises: a housing (100), which has an optical interface (101), and an accommodating cavity (110) is provided on an outer side of an end portion of the housing (100) on a side of the optical interface (101). A pull ring (200) comprises a pull handle (210) and a driving member (220) connected to one another. The driving member (220) is inserted into the accommodating cavity (110) and is movably connected to the accommodating cavity (110). A friction reduction assembly (500) is provided between opposite surfaces of the driving member (220) and the accommodating cavity (110), and when the pull handle (210) is obliquely pulled, the driving member (220) makes contact with the accommodating cavity (110) by means of the friction reduction assembly (500). In an optical module, the friction reduction assembly (500) between the driving member (220) and the accommodating cavity (110) may effectively reduce the friction force generated between the driving member (220) and the accommodating cavity
