ADJUSTMENT OF NUMBER OF CONTAINERS OF APPLICATION

Disclosed in the present description are a method and apparatus for adjusting the number of containers of an application. The method comprises: on the basis of historical data of an application, predicting a flow distribution of the application within a future preset duration by means of a pre-trained flow prediction model; on the basis of the predicted flow distribution, predicting the distribution of the number of containers of the application within the preset duration by means of a pre-trained number prediction model; and adjusting the number of containers of the application at each moment within the preset duration according to the obtained distribution of the number of containers. The flow of an application within a future preset duration can be predicted in advance, so as to obtain the number of containers, which shall be correspondingly deployed at each moment, and the number of containers of the application at each moment can be adjusted in a timely manner.
