The vibration absorber comprises a flange plate (1), connecting rubber (2), and an inertia disc (3) which are sequentially nested and connected from inside to outside, wherein the connecting rubber (2) connects the flange plate (1) and the inertia disc (3), and is provided with a cavity (221) extending in a circumferential direction; the cavity (221) is provided with an inner side wall (221a) and an outer side wall (221b) which is farther away from the flange plate (1) than the inner side wall (221a); the inner side wall (221a) is sleeved with a mass ring (4); the outer side wall (221b) is provided with rubber protrusions (222) protruding towards the mass ring (4); and the diameter of the mass ring (4) can be changed. The vibration absorber can adapt to torsional modes of different gears, thereby facilitating reduction of vibration noise of an automobile transmission system.
