GROUP MESSAGE PROCESSING METHOD AND APPARATUS, AND SYSTEM AND STORAGE MEDIUM

The embodiments of the present disclosure relate to a group message processing method and apparatus, and a system and a storage medium. In at least one embodiment of the present disclosure, for a super-large group, i.e. a group in which the number of members exceeds a preset value, a serving end creates a group inbox corresponding to the super-large group, and after acquiring a message of the super-large group, the serving end does not directly send a message event to a personal inbox of each member in the super-large group by using a "write diffusion" mode, but stores the message event in the group inbox of the super-large group, such that a client acquires the message event of the super-large group from the group inbox only when a user activates the client, thereby realizing a "read diffusion" mode. Compared with the "write diffusion" mode, the "read diffusion" mode can reduce the resource consumption of the serving end and improve the stability of a system.
