Zusammenfassung:By a lens device (1) configured to be attachable to and detachable from an imaging device (2), and provided with a storage unit (32) in which compensation characteristic information (12) relating to breathing compensation is stored, and a transmission processing unit (12) which performs processing for transmitting the compensation characteristic information to the imaging device in response to an inquiry from the imaging device, and the imaging device (2) configured to be able to attach thereto and detach therefrom the lens device (1) in which the compensation characteristic information relating to the breathing compensation is stored, and provided with a compensation amount acquisition processing unit (52) which acquires the compensation characteristic information transmitted by the lens device in response to the inquiry made of the lens device, and on the basis of the compensation characteristic information and at least focus lens position information transmitted by the lens device after the acquisition of the compensation characteristic information, acquires a breathing compensation amount indicating the compensation amount of the breathing compensation, it becomes possible to acquire the compensation characteristic information on the imaging device side (body side) before the start of the breathing compensation, and it becomes unnecessary to find the compensation amount on the lens device side and sequentially transmit the compensation amount to the imaging device side when implementing appropriate breathing compensation corresponding to lens characteristic variation.
