Provided is a differential, comprising: an input gear (5) capable of receiving external torque from the differential; a planetary shaft (2) extending along a radial direction (R) of the input gear (5) and having a direct transmission coupling to the input gear (5); a planet gear (3) mounted to the planetary shaft (2), and capable of rotating around the planetary shaft (2); and an output gear (4) which meshes with the planet gear (3) and is capable of transmitting torque to the outside of the differential. In this way, the problem of oversized housing geometry and heavy weight due to the need for torque transfer through a housing of the differential is avoided, a number of bolts used for fixation between the input gear and the housing is reduced, the corresponding costs are decreased, and the problem of bolt installation is eliminated.
