Zusammenfassung:	The invention provides inter alia a method for producing cultured fat cells for animal consumption, comprising the steps of: - providing a fibro-adipogenic progenitor (FAP) cell; - culturing said FAP cell in a culture medium for expanding FAP cells to thereby provide an expanded population of FAP cells; - culturing said expanded population of FAP cells in a culture medium for differentiating FAP cells to thereby differentiate FAP cells into fat cells. L'invention concerne entre autres un procédé de production de cellules adipeuses de culture pour la consommation animale, comprenant les étapes consistant à : fournir une cellule progénitrice fibro-adipogène (FAP) ; cultiver ladite cellule FAP dans un milieu de culture pour l'extension de cellules FAP pour ainsi fournir une population étendue de cellules FAP; et cultiver ladite population étendue de cellules FAP dans un milieu de culture pour différencier les cellules FAP afin de différencier les cellules FAP en cellules adipeuses.
