LIPID CRYSTALLINE COMPOSITIONS WITH ENHANCED STABILITY FOR TOPICAL DELIVERY OF ACTIVE AGENT COMBINATIONS

Multiple active component therapeutic formulations are described comprising at least two active agents selected from the group consisting of an isovanillin component, a harmine component, and a curcumin component, stabilized in a self-supporting lipid crystalline formulation for topical application. The formulation maintains the active agents in a stable form during storage and will melt at body temperature when applied to the skin, wherein the lipid crystals melt into a liquid crystalline structure thereby releasing the active agents to the applied area of the skin or tissue to render their therapeutic effect. La formulation maintient les agents actifs sous une forme stable pendant le stockage et fond à la température corporelle lorsqu'elle est appliquée sur la peau, les cristaux lipidiques fondant dans une structure cristalline liquide, libérant ainsi les agents actifs vers la zone appliquée de la peau ou du tissu pour qu'ils confèrent leur effet thérapeutique.
