Zusammenfassung:	Provided is a polarizing plate and an optical display device comprising same, the polarizing plate comprising a polarizer and a liquid crystal retardation layer laminated on the lower surface of the polarizer, and further comprising an adhesive layer formed in direct contact with the upper surface or the lower surface of the liquid crystal retardation layer, wherein the adhesive layer is formed of a thermosetting adhesive composition and has a thickness of 10 nm to 500 nm, and in the liquid crystal retardation layer, the rate of change of an in-plane retardation of equation 1 is 1% or less.
