The method comprises: a source end device carrying a path request in an extended DNS request for sending same to a controller; the controller planning a path on the basis of the extended DNS request, and carrying planned path information in an extended DNS response to send same to the source end device; and the source end device sending a target data packet to a destination end device according to content of the path information (e.g. comprising several forwarding nodes, and a successive forwarding sequence of the forwarding nodes).
