Zusammenfassung:	Exposure of the surgical site is an important step during ophthalmic surgery. Exposure can be achieved using modified lid speculum or surgical sutures. Currently available modified specula are only suitable for exposure during glaucoma surgery with no possibility of fine adjustment of the exposed part or shifting to the primary phaco position without exchanging the modified speculum with a regular one. Herein we describe an invention of a modified speculum that enables adjustable exposure of the surgical site with an efficient shift from a certain position to the primary phaco position with the help of a flexible extension attached to the speculum.
