Zusammenfassung:	An electronic device according to various embodiments disclosed herein comprises: memory; a motion sensor; an optical sensor; and a processor operatively coupled to the memory, the motion sensor, and the optical sensor. The memory can be configured such that, when executed, the processor: determines, on the basis of a sensor signal of at least one of the motion sensor or the optical sensor for a user, whether the user is in a physical work state or a mental work state; uses at least one of the optical sensor or a biometric sensor to calculate a physical work intensity or a mental work intensity according to the determined physical work state or mental work state; and provides work state-related information to the user on the basis of at least one of the calculated physical work intensity or the calculated mental work intensity.
