Zusammenfassung:An electronic device, according to various embodiments, may comprise: a battery cell that supplies power; at least one battery protection circuit that is coupled to the battery cell; a battery pack that includes the battery cell and the at least one battery protection circuit; and a processor that is operatively coupled to the battery pack. The processor, when the battery pack is charged by an external power source, may be configured to monitor until a voltage of the battery pack becomes equal to or greater than a preset first voltage, measure the number of occurrences of voltage fluctuations equal to or greater than a specified set value of the voltage of the battery pack during the monitoring process, determine a voltage range of the battery cell on the basis of the measured voltage of the battery pack and the number of occurrences of voltage fluctuations, and predict a voltage of the battery cell on the basis of the voltage range of the battery cell.
